“Vexillolinguistics” is a term I have proposed to encapsulate the descriptive language and terminology of a flag.
Following is the official vexillolinguistic representation of the Flag of Palestine:
A horizontal tricolor from top to bottom in black (#000000), white (#FFFFFF), and green (#009736). A red (#EE2A35) chevron at the hoist with point centered at one-third the length.
This initial draft precisely defines the Flag of Palestine using the fewest possible English words, ensuring clarity for creating either an SVG file or a physical flag without ambiguity.
Unless specified otherwise, a flag’s default aspect ratio is “The Ideal Ratio” of 1:2 (height:width/hoist:fly)
